Ok, I went full sucker mode and bought beef flaps premie.

Initial impressions? I like it, needs some work, but I like it.

Balance seems to be the word of the day
Planes are nerfed pretty good
Tanks are buff'd a bit
Some audio glitches.

But for the most part, I like the maps, and it's pretty fun to play.

I did however, install it on the wrong origin account, so I'll be correcting that sometime today.

Did you notice the call of duty mechanics and really shitty animations? That's one of the main things keeping me off of this. My bro says they've improved since beta, but I can't verify.. gonna try on his comp this week.

I would say yes, it is VERY infrantry specific, and the maps are small. No more 73 eastings map.

But like I said, they nerfed planes. To have a buff plane in a tiny map would be rape, so they have to either A) spread combat out more (IE bigger maps) or B nerf the planes.

I gotta say though, it is _beautiful_. I can play everything cranked, and the water effects are amazing, underwater diving, etc..

Kinda agree with Steve. Most new games have the HIV. All the games I play for more than a few hours tend to be old ones. Shiny new graphics and voice overs can't make up for shit game play.

Guild Wars 2 looks great. So does TOR. Unfortunately, game is still boring. It takes more than pretty water, light blooms and light flares to keep me interested.

Looks good, but I was never into a lot of the vogue shooters; CoD, battlefield, etc... I enjoyed Star Wars BattleFront but that's mostly because it brought some Star Wars to the concept. Like WoW and Diablo III, it's just not my game.
