If you download your torrents from Dattebayo Fan Subs, they will no longer be subbing Naruto as of Jan. 15, 2009 (yes, that's next month) with the future of Bleach still undecided.

Switch to manga now!!! I've been telling many people this from day 1 -- you don't really lose any sort of "action" in the fights just because it's a manga (comic) and the story line right now is like...years ahead of what they would be in the anime anyway.

Another group will pickup Naruto i'm sure, Viz is subbing it for free with a 1 week break beteen live TV show & subbed release, trust me there will be a group that'll take over the helm, it's the most popular Anime out right now (close to 1 million downloads per week).

It's the quality of the subs that I'm worried about -_-

Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch the anime as it's a good "refresher" and to look back at some of the fights without having to remember which chapter that fight is, but I've always liked Dattebayo's quality and efficiency.

Old news narf... they made that announcement like last weekend.

There is a service that you can get it like the next day they said... I'll probably look into that. I feel like enough of a dork watching cartoons... let alone reading comic books/watching cartoons combined, and paying out the ass for it to boot... oh, and not to mention taking 4 hours to get 20 minutes worth of material.

lol, so sad... I have like half of the DBZ series on VHS tape... got them for a dollar a piece-50 cents a piece.

gundam wing was OK, Trigun seemed good but couldn't get into it... Cowboy Bebop was always entertaining but episodes didn't mesh really and were really just episodes (I like a story line).

A show that I really did like was Full Metal Alchemist. I don't know if anyone ever watched it but it was rather good.

FMA was a great series, I have a hard-on for One Piece right now & yes I feel like a dork watching these but fuck anime is soo much better than what's on TV these days.

For Manga, www.onemanga.com, every series you can think of.

I've watched Trigun before and it's a great series. Goes from goofy/funny antics to dark and serious near the end fo the series. FMA was good too. If you like sports then I recommend "Slam Dunk", "Prince of Tennis", and "Crossover". If you like cars and racing then I recommend "Initial D". Finally, if you like a funny series with a moral or life lesson at the end of every chapter, then I recommend "Addicted to Curry" and "Great Teacher Onizuka" (GTO).

I usually go to www.stoptazmo.com for my manga with the exception of Bleach and Naruto as StopTazmo isn't the speediest w/respect to updates (usually a couple of days behind), but boy do they have a ridiculous amount of manga series available :P

gundam wing was the best!!! I myself never got "hardcore" into trigun to cowboy bebop but I enjoyed them

DBZ for the win though, I mean vegeta is just such a bad ass

Cowboy Bebop did have a storyline within and throughout the bounties he chased throughout the galaxy. Just had to watch it all.

Yeah, there is the larger story with Spike and his old life, but it is mainly episodic. Most of Shinichirō Watanabe's works are like that.
