ehh.. I've been using 12" and 10" laptops from the beginning so I'm used to it. And plus, it's powerful enough to hook up to a large monitor and play the games at the same level so I'm fine with that.

Alienware is overpriced IMO (which makes it fact), but so long as you're happy I'm happy for you.

Hmm, Alienware as a whole is overpriced but if you compare it to Apple it's still cheap.

However, this m11x I think is a VERY fair pricing. Compare it to say a Asus UL30VT right now. Same processor, same ram, but 5400rpm hdd, a 210m gpu, and much worse build quality. Still runs you 850+tax.

I will gladly pay 999+tax for top notch build quality [bonus with the lighting system] + a much better gpu and a much faster hdd.

Also, the 335m is obviously 'bad' if your comparing it to the likes of desktops but in the laptop world, it's at the top of tier 2 and the best gpu available right now for any laptop under 15".

~IMO~

my buddy just bought one and sent it back. he said it wasn't powerful enough for the money he spent on it. but he's quite anal about stuff like that, I used it and it seemed fine. he just didnt like it because it didnt run GTA4 very well at native resolution

GTA4 is a very CPU demended game, so that overclock 1.3ghz to 1.7Ghz c2d just won't cut it.

RFD is working with Dell on this "Readers Choice Promotion" where you get to pick systems that go on sale, the poll have ended, and looks like M11X won. so look's like M11X is gonna go on sale for $999.99 with CPU, HDD, and RAM upgrade. For that price, I'm sure no other 11" laptop will even come close to the spec that Dell is offering.
