The Japanese offered to place a full 3D transmitter in the stadiums of all the countries of the losing bids and broadcast the game live in 3D hologram if they got the 2022 World Cup, so the Technology is obviously there and improving. I expect it will get much sicker, though it will likely be expensive as all shit for at least a decade.
