As an avid football fan, I can't convey the level of butthurt I feel for shit like this. I'm aware fixing does happen, and it's horrible :feelscry:

Impossible to root out fixing and corruption in FIFA leagues. Only thing as fans is to hope for teams who care more about the sport and their reputations than some extra cash they dont need.

On paper germany has the superior team and i expect them to win at least 2-0 but i wouldnt be surprised if the game were to end in a draw or 3-1 for the krauts.

Either way i dont believe people give enough credit to the us squad and have dismissed their progress as luck. I dont think so, their head coach did a great job with the team and delivered as promise. Team usa definitely does not have the technical skills, creativity or 'sight' for setting up beautiful plays some other teams do, but if u consider teams like germany, spain, portugal, england have 100 years of club history and development vs americas team over the last decade or so its quite imprssive how well they have fared. Their squad is strong and do a lot of direct pass and inside plays and they show no fear contending against the biggest names in the sport. Good on em

Wrong, Italy doesn't fake much anymore. For diving, look anywhere in South America, spain/Portugal and I'm very embarrassed to say even my beloved country :feelscry: Italy has changed their game in the last decade, they play nice football.

I agree with ya BJ that italy def wasnt ragdolling the field as much this year. Overall i find the players a but more honorable and less exaggerated when it comes to being fouled, but its still football and the dives will forever occur

Remember when Dempsey got the huge highkick boot to the nose? I thot hed be done for the tourney with a busted nose but he kept on playing

Muellers looked way worse though

Suarez is a wild card, guy seems to do crazy shit when under full pressure. He deserved more than a warning for that rough n tumble w chiellini
