Yep... it was cheaper for me to get 8 than 7 :beatsme: So more money in my pocket, less in theirs.

7 is Vista SP3 Which makes me think that the below might also be true: 8 is Vista SP4/5 8.1 is Vista SP6 But since x64 OS, the rest is more eye candy and bug fixes than ground breaking.

I went from Vista to 8.0, then did the 8.1 conversion. Aside from the H100i issue at the moment (there are workarounds but like I said, I set my shit and it works so no need), my frames in BF4 and BL2 have increased compared to 8.0. I use Classic Start Menu 3.6.8 and everything is easy mode.

8.1 also doesn't play nice with H100i control software :( But I made my program before I upgraded so it doesn't matter for now (still want it fixed of course). Don't have the mouse problems though.

Fibe is looking pretty sweet (especially the TV side)... only beef I have is that depending on where you live, they still provide "Fibe" even though the actual service is coming to the house via the normal copper phone lines, and will never live up to the speed rating. My neighbourhood's copper...

Actually lately I've been playing Borderlands 2. But sure, I can afford BF4 super duper ultra something because I don't waste my money on fucks not given.
