see the problem now, will be to relearn all the hand motions.

before if you wanted to push the mouse forward a small amount, you would (atleast i would) use your thumb and wedding finger just slide the mouse forward.

now try the same thing with a vertical grip mouse, it moves sideways :)

For me it'll actually be easier. I'm used to holding airsoft guns, so having a pistol grip mouse for and FPS game is perfect. Now if they could only make a stabbing mouse...

That's a different mouse. I wonder if your arm will get tired cuz you're holding your arm off of the desk so high. Let me know how it works.

Keeripes: where you located? We shared the fields with paintballers, but as to where you can buy the equipment...it's a bit of an underground thing.

CroJon: let's see you try to shoot me when all you can't afford to buy anything.

Auron: I had it shipped to work so I'm using it right now.

Kirock: you can thread-jack my threads any day ;)

How old are you? You need to be 19+ to buy them.

As for cost: a *stock* rifle = ~$500-600, but you will be severely outgunned. After upgrades to the internals, you can expect an overall cost of ~$900+ for *ONE* gun. My M4 with all its bells and whistles costed me $1200

you dont hold your arm in the air.

a conventional mouse, your arm rests on your wrist. your wrist is in a perpetual slightly upward slant position, and in that position is required to twist left and right. This is what causes all those medical problems.

vertical grip mice, like the one narf just bought and the one that linked to, have your hand rest on the side of your hand, the "karate chop" side.

here, basicaly, take a glass of water or a coke can or whatever and hold it with your hand wresting on the table. Now pretend its a mouse.

your wrist no longer carries the load, which is transferred to the arms entirety... atleast in theory.
