Is anyone looking forward to the new OS? How about Keyboard and Mouse being optional?

FYI, still in the development stage but Windows 7, Blackcomb is already moving towards the end of service year, it was extended from 2016 to 2020 after more development would be necessary, leaving Vista to expire sometime in 2017, as the mainstream has ended 4 weeks ago.

YUP. I've played with it as well. It's pretty much Windows 7 - but then the screen shifts left (STOLEN FROM MAC, as usual) and it's a tablet/phone interface... gay :/

If Digital Distribution becomes this popular, they may code it into part of an Operating System. A Steam Operating System would only be possible...on PS 5.

It is, it just lost its mainstream about 4-5 weeks ago. 7 was to be axed in 3 years from now, but they extended it after R&D ran into problems with 8, and dedication to the new Windows Phone, axing the Zune, development on another item, delays...delays.

Like I said I haven't looked into it that much, but my friend shown me some pictures of what it will look like a while back.
This thought crossed my mind, why would anyone want to have a phone menu for a computer...

As for peripherals, I think I remember some monitor company's making some touch screen monitors, ready for Windows 8.
Not sure which.

Unless they find some one like him again, they probably will just end up remaking their current products into 'better' versions over and over.

I haven't really used 7 and 8 isn't something i am looking forward to. Touch screen, god damnit i just end up using something completely different then what i have intended to because of the crappy sensitivity.. (Speaking of which i can't imagine Zack using one ). In conclusion after i upgrade my computer i am going to switch over to 7 and then wait to see what the next OS will be.
Who knows it might be Voice Control...
