Silly TF2fags, TF2 isn't a MMO.

"A massively multiplayer online game is a multiplayer game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously."

16v16 isn't 'massive'

32 players playing at the same time is more than a typical WoW playthrough...

Think about it, at any given time your success or failure in WoW is usually determined by 4 other players as opposed to 15 in a typical TF2 match.

be proud you are so ignorant to what WoW end game was really like.

40v40 PVP(as appose to 16v16 in TF2)
25 man raids(40 man raids in vanilla)

Full TF2 server = 32/32 , full WoW server= 2500/2500

If you think about trading as a collective of thousands of players, it could be considered an MMO, although the main game is small team v. team. I'm not saying it should be called an MMO, but it shouldn't be called not an MMO. :p

I can't play MMOs anymore

I have so much on my plate in real life that I can never dedicate the hours needed to fully engage in an MMO.

So I stick to single player games, it's much easier to hit pause/save and come back to it when you're ready and not piss off a handful of REAL people scattered all over the world.

But if my wife happened to die and I won a million dollars, I'd probably become a slob and get into EVE.

I feel the same way but I still renewed my subscription in August. I can't stay away too long because it's such a well-crafted game that it makes you believe fully in the reality of the shit that goes on in it. Nothing else is really as good at suspending disbelief as the idea that you are whatever spaceship you decide to undock in and can go meet up with 5-50 people and run around the universe looking for people to fuck up with lasers and missiles. It's the ultimate team game.

My main problem is that doing anything with anyone involves lots of time spent getting organized. I get restless as fuck playing any game for more than an hour straight so I miss how it was cool to just hop on CS, fuck around some then bounce whenever I wasn't feelin it anymore.
