People who want an extra refined or key just because they "like" their item.
People who add you when you clearly state not to add on outpost.
These phishers going around who add people to send phishing links.

Finding out you have Asperger Syndrome at the age of 24 instead of finding out when you're still young and at school so you can get the fucking help you need to do better at your school work, and the teachers being clueless and telling your mum you're having problems because of separation anxiety because she split from your dad. Fucking teachers don't know shit.

Are we bonding yet?

This thread got deep quick...
Sucks to hear dude but at least you have a proper diagnosis.
To be honest I would rather have any diagnosis at all instead of having something wrong with you and not knowing what it is.
My dad has been diagnosed as schizophrenic for years, taking medicine for it and everything. Last year he was diagnosed again but it turns out he has Post Traumatic Stress, not schizophrenia, and has been taking the wrong medication for years...

What kind of support do you get with aspergers at your age? If any that is..
I'm not overly familiar with it.

Not too much I mean, I've been told about this place called Number 6 that help people with Autism and AS and they're like a one-stop-shop were you can pick 1 of the groups they do, like they have a gaming group and you can just turn up when it starts and join it then leave, 3 TV's and 3 xbox's (but no PC :feelscry: ) and shit like that you know, can even help you find a place of your own to live and just generally help you be a normal person in the world . But yeah lucky I've got a light case otherwise i'd have probably mentioned it in my mod app or just not applied at all haha but yeah didn't mean to make this start getting deep, I usually keeps to myself as people here might have noticed so I just sorta say shit whenever :D

Sucks about your dad too, I won't get started on mine or we'll be sharing a bloody tissue box.

These phishers going around who add people to send phishing links.

Whenever I receive a random add, I almost always suspect it's an account of a convicted phisher. Unfortunately, outpost is acting as a malicious tool; their account friending system makes it very convenient to connect to an account to distribute the fake link and as well to “home in” on unaware new users. This is beginning to evolve where they are attempting to avoid detection from organizations that are friends of SR's. If you place the IP of a phishing link in the Steamrep search engine, and try to find the accounts contacts, it will turn up as a falsified result, even if you attempt to restore the Steam64 URL back from "Stenmcomunity" to "Steamcommunity".

As you already know, SR is no longer accepting attempting hijacking reports--All related reports are all archived. Phishing, as it is a very serious offense, should be handled by the VALVe Staff/contributors by using the default built-in report method for these types of offenses to be taken at hand. The SR database cannot prevent such matters, but rather have it on their record. So with a limited ability, and an ample amount of cases to go through with a considerable amount of data to process, I try to lend-a-hand on their pending reports.

My highest recommendations when receiving a suspicious add is to:

-Check their URL
-Check to see if you have anything in common(groups, friends) etc.
-Check to see their profile privacy as well as their game activity hours. Anything other than "public" or "usersonly" should result in a removal.
-Check to see their item inventory. (As there is not much of another valid reason why they added you not regarding items.)

If the list applies to a situation that you suspect may involve hijacking intent, then I would highly recommend ignoring the invite. Chances are he will not re-add you as he already gets the message you know.

If the user has already pre-messaged you a phishing script,

Block him. Report him via his community profile.
