Nah, I had to. Yoga is really good for flexibility (which is important) although won't do shit for getting a nice bod (except for the cardio aspect of it, or thermogenics of hot yoga)
 
I read some of the above posts, but they ALL seem to be right in each way.

Lifting weights increases both your Power and Strength, what do you want? Both of course.

There are two types of muscle tone you need for both. Dense, tight, compact muscle for power, and big, larger muscles with lots of blood flow for shear strength.

You guessed it, there are 2 types of work outs that address each type of muscles build.

To make power muscles you need to do maximum lift and your best reps. (increase both weight and reps as you can).

To make strength muscle you need VOLUME (big muscles), to make big muscles you need MAXIMUM REPS and best weight. **(increase both as you can).

All of the above implies you eat a very high diet in protein, amino acids and give your muscles times to heal.

Kirock, your by far the most on track. The are two types of muscle fibers, both fast and slow twitch.

When you do train for size, consequently you will increase strength sheerly out of the concept of mass-force-displacement.

That however is only a half truth. You can get a LOT stronger without the need to get big. Both type of trainings use different rep ranges as well as rest periods. Each style invoking different hormonal productions.

The different stress loads will require your body to adapt in different ways. Theoretically, it is best to interchange the two styles with six week intervals. Six weeks hypertrophy followed by six weeks of strength gradually decreasing to a 1RM on the last week, then repeating. When you return to hypertrophy, you should be able to train with significantly more weight then you did the previous time.
 
I once heard this rountine from a trainer i once had, but its a 3 week rountine but..... first week you do all your exercises with 10-15 reps, second week you do 8-12 reps and the last week you do 4-8 reps on all your exercises......


Never tried it out cuz it 3 weeks took and that is along time imho
 
Sounds like a dumbass trainer if you ask me. Key points in the above 12 week cycles "hormone production". Hopping all over the place your body wont have time to produce the necessary responses. Not to mention that going to 15 reps is only for: people that are first starting out, people trying to maintain their muscles while cutting down for a show. (Some people use 15 reps for weight loss, although there are much better ways).
 
I remember when Jimmy the Greek said that on national TV while co-hosting the NFL half-time show. He was fired the next day.

Ok, I KNEW I recognized that guy from somewhere. He's bigtime in "ghetto training" he has massive followers and fans (just like any other bodybuilder or muscle model - if you know the industry).

Ok, now the size he is at based on his style or training would have required very large doses of steroids. Based on the lack of visible organ inflammation I would assume he's not on GH. Now most blatantly of all, being able to sustain that amount of tissue without becoming catabolic clearly demonstrates that he is on Winstrol (A steroid developed for race horses). As for the steroid(s) that gave him the mass, could be any of them.

Actually, looking at that still again... Fuck everything I just said, the sheer protrusion of his abs clearly demonstrate intensive steroid use.
 
Some guys are just comfortable enough with their sexualities that they can have poles in their hands. Especially purple tipped ones.

HGH is the best but most dangerous.. it makes you grow, again ! everything in your body grows, even your bones! down side is that you may not grow symmetrically, eg. one arm longer than another, one ear bigger, stuff like that.
a common steroid ppl use is "Deca" (not sure about spelling) it doesnt make u bigger, it makes your joints super strong, for when u start lifting huge weights. lots of ppl use than one because their joint kill from lifting.
 
47, you've got a half truth. For a first time user, Deca is one of the choice steroids, although ideally done in conjunction with a cycle of test, and it will get you HUGE. The main drug which I think you were confusing with Dbol (Dianabol). Which is one of the most frequently circulated and used steroid. HGH is essentially a second puberty and is most beneficially taken after the age of 26. Any steroid you take will get you huge though (except for cutting steroids obviously which are meant purely so shred fat cells).
