that does nothing leroy. you just lose all your water weight. Once you get out, you will want to eat/drink and you will go right back up to your "normal" weight. That's what UFC fighters and such do, lose 10 lbs of water weight to make the cut, and then eat/drink all they want and return to their stable weight...

and Stve, no way bman could lose 25 pounds healthily in like 2 months. If you want to be on a healthy weight loss system, your not supposed to lose more than like 1.5-2 lbs per week.

yo stevie, if you have sex more than twice a week, you can cut down your cardio significantly to leave room for weights. On average, if you have two 15-minute sessions of sex, you can get rid of an hour and a bit of cardio.. work that baby out and you've got some extra time. Sex is amazing cardio man, see what you could work out into your schedule.

its not going to kill you to lose 2.5-3.5 lbs instead of 2lbs a week spinny..especially if he cuts back his HIGH intake of alcohol...

I really don't believe that losing 3-4 pounds a week is really THAT bad for you...as long as you arn't losing like 10 a week consistantly...

I don't do very much cardio, I just try to run/bike/or jog with my dog once a day.

I'll be sure to use that on my GF tho bj :) "I need to lose 5lbs, take your pants off again baby"

losing weight all comes down to your commitment to it. Eat right all the time... fuck all fastfoods...even subway cause the only healthy choice there is the turkey..and who the fuck wants turkey. and work out...you dont have to life weights to lose it... run...swim(best workout ever)...get a memebership to a gym that has a pool and do as many laps as you can a day...its the only workout that works every muscle in the body and shreds all the fat off of your body, while building a healthy lean mean machine. swimming FTW (includes Cardio)

but since this thread was started on the topic of working out...P90x is the new craze a bunch of my friends recently pirated it...and yes it works..buttt in order for it to work you require a foundation...so the things you see on tv are fake unless your pre-semi jacked/cut/ripped.

y'know, you bring up a great point, spinny.. all kidding aside, I've never had problems cutting up, and I eat like a cheap whore out on an expensive date. In post-season, basically I eat oatmeal/eggs for breaky (I know, sick) I'll snack all damn day on premade rice/green bean meals.

When I'm full out working out, just pre-season, I'll carb up.

All that diet atkins crap never worked for me, I think its overly complex... basically from a simple simple view, output has to be greater than input, but just because you're a fat lazy bastard, doesn't mean you don't eat... it means be active, run your fat ass off, and eat like a champ...

Well im not jacked(or atleast as jacked as I'd like to be) I'm more or less looking for a routine that will challenge me more my current one(in the OP) really isnt giving me anything anymore I think my bodies adjusted to it. From what I've heard from Narf it sounds like p90x will challenge me greatly, I think im gonna start it up after finals are over.

I just did the ab ripper x last night after I saw foolio's post I had to try it and it was intense!! so much fun and a great workout. Also have any of you seen the p90X plus. It's an even more advanced version for p90x veterans and has some crazy stuff. But yeah steve I would say if you're looking for something to get you to the next level and freshen up your workouts that p90x is a great idea.
