Video card problem.

make a "looking for" thread in the forums. i guarantee you there are many many people in DARKLY who have old (yet decent) video cards sitting around that would run most games you play.
and to state the obvious, no gamer should ever be using onboard gfx - that shit is for occasional gaming at most. also, next computer you get, build it yourself! shit's easy and way way way better than buying off the shelf.

anyway, i myself have an ASUS EN8600GT SILENT 253MB DDR3 card that i would sell to you for cheap (box included!) if you are in the hamilton area. it is really outdated now, but just throwing it out there.

Here's a great tool for helping you determine what kind of power (ball-park figure, at least) your computer should require. If you're planning on upgrading other components in your system (i.e. cooling system, processor, ram, video card, hard drives etc.), then add those in and you'll see how powerful of a power supply you'll need in that future time when you have all of your upgraded stuff.

Again, try not to take these figures as 100%, but at least if will put you in the right direction, in terms of wattage.

Just take your time and fill it out as accurately as you can. Good luck!

how does a GTX260 sound? Name a price that you think is fair. It is in great condition and retails for $99
Will probably be great for whatever game you need to play.

As I'm west coast, and this isn't as urgent anymore as I am getting my laptop back, the only thing needed is to get the graphics processor looked at.
