unable to change colour of crosshair

can anyone help me with this issue? i can only get the yellowish green colour (even when i try console comands instead of options menu) i cant seem to get it to change. let me know if you have tips please!
(i would like it to be red so i can clearly see it on all maps)

There is no red in CS:GO as far as I know. I tried getting it, too.

Edit: red enabled as of last update.

the command was something like cm_crosshaircolor 0

Step 1) cl_legacycrosshair 1
Step 2) Proceed with all of your old crosshair commands (i.e. cl_crosshaircolor, thickness, alpha, centerdot, cl_crosshaircolor_r, _g, _b etc) and bask in its glory

Allows you to revert back to the Source crosshair and, therefore, enables all of the Source-customizable variables (colour, size, thickness etc.) along with it.

It's sort of a work-around until they provide these features for GO's crosshair, if they do include it.

Helped me out too! Didn't know it was possible to get those commands to work. I was just missing the legacy command!

cl_crosshairtype 2 - This will enable legacy crosshair, so you can use all of the commands to change thickness, colour etc.
