Sweet video I re-discovered (via reddit) late last week, and have watched it multiple times since.

I like the presentation of the material, and the songs used for the sequencing are big favorites of mine. To me this seems like it is presented in the spirit of the late Carl Sagan, of whom I am a great fan. This video is a compilation of various imagery and CG from different sources, depicting current theories pertaining to the creation of the universe, our planet and evolution.

Maybe some of you have seen it, maybe some haven't. I really enjoyed it and maybe some of you guys would too. I recommend 720p fullscreen and speakers turned up. If you like space shit you would like this.

cool vid but wouldn't cosmological and later evolutionary theory state that the events that brought the universe, and all life in it, to its current state be the most efficient way possible and therefor not a rub Goldberg machine?

Personally I like watching Gravity Theories, it's amazing to me they still haven't proven any of them. Something that's so important to us, and we still don't know how it works.
