I stopped watching the following not because it was bad but cause i had too many shows going on at the time. That show is on some fcked up shit but its really good.
I can't wait for the next season of homeland, last season left with a bang, pun intended =P

Yeah homeland is sick, but too bad its only 12 eps every season

I've watched pretty much every series out there, and a few of my favs:

The Shield (I'm amazed by how few people I talk to have seen this, possibly the best plot/writing/twists of any series)
Breaking Bad
Homeland
Sopranos
Dexter
West Wing

And for comedy:

Archer (If you're not watching you're missing out)
Curb your enthusiasm
Its always sunny in Philadelphia
