This right here is the problem, these sick fucks who commit massacres know they are gonna be front page news for days and that sounds like a pretty good way to end a pathetic life.
Most gun control ideas are ignorant of the reality. Everyone is caught up on "assault rifles" now. That definition is liberally extended to semi-automatic rifles, which (dependent on barrel length) are legal to own in Canada as well with just a possession license.
And yet, all our murders in the GTA are committed with shitty 9mm firearms imported en masse from the U.S. and disseminated amongst the gangsters. That's right, criminals prefer concealable handguns to legally-ownable semi-automatic shotguns that you would spend hours trying to find in a video game because they're so damn efficient at killin. Fucking shocking! I'm sure gun control would help stem the tide of all the thugs with guns that are already fuckin illegal to begin with. :rolleyes:
I also wouldn't trust any stats on firearm deaths in Japan considering there are constantly reports of firearm shipments being seized and mysteriously no deaths HMMM VERY ODD. Maybe it has something to do with the criminal organizations that have more than mafia-like influence on culture and politics there. Maybe they're just thorough and make the bodies disappear altogether. Next insane guy would have to have a syringe gun from tf2 medic with aids syringes and give aids to 20+ people, then an hero's. extra points if he had aids and rapes old fashion way instead of syringe gun. Another factor would be the age of people he gives aids to. The DOT effect only lasts for so long so ideally he would want to give aids to adolescents or sexually active adults to maximize his damage.
but then again if he ended up giving aids to an entire social circle, they might just have orgies due to the ease of finding aids partners and negate their aids spreading effect. so I guess there are circumstances when giving aids can have a diminishing return.

Stevie, I'm all for your rights, I honestly am. Perhaps to clear up some stuff regarding my idea of gun control. I'm not saying people shouldn't be allowed to own rifles etc. etc., but these people buying these things should be checked harder, more often.
What if the _______ association (whatever the fuck fake, money-laundering association 'controls' the US' weapons) would see who the owner lives with, associates with, job/career, geo/demographics of the surrounding area etc. There's got to be some way to make shit safer. If said association knew that she had a mentally unstable person(s) in the household, might that information have influenced her being approved/disapproved of owning the weapons?
It just seems way too easy...

My girl friends works with kids with autism and aspergers everyday and when we were watch the news she was like, that would have no affect on why he would pick up a gun and shoot shit up.
Next response on the news: "We need new laws for people with mental illnesses so this doesn't happen again"
