Turbo, why do you need to take the gun home, when you take it back to range to use it? It's too dangerous, and as we see, people then steal these at home stored weapons and use them for crimes. If these guns were locked up somewhere safer than a person's home, less would be stolen. Ultimately, people can get a drivers licence with training blah blah blah, but 30% of drivers are fucking terrible and kill people. Gun ownership is the same, you dont take a test that can really assure success with ownership.

What is civilization? Civilizations rise and fall. Harry Truman was directly responsible for nuking the Japanese and murdering hundreds of thousands of civilians despite all the rational arguments of all the smart physicists who developed the bomb telling him not to do such a thing. How rational was that?

How rational was the Soviets sending tanks into the crowded city streets of Budapest in 1956 to stop a protest? How rational was Gaddafi? How rational is Bashar's council? How rational are all the warlords in Africa who oppress their people with rules of terror and use their labour to mine the precious metals worth billions to technology companies who buy from them to sell you an iPhone for $500? Why don't you give me a rational fucking reason for men to use force as a first resort then I'll give you a rational reason to keep guns in my house as a LAST resort?
