I'm lookin to rent a place for 6 months in Toronto. Any Toronto ppl know any decent area to live that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

was looking in the sheppard and bayview area but its pretty pricey. 2k or so. Im lookin for something temporary. Is yorkdale area safe and not crack central? looking in central/west end TO.

Yeah i know about jane and finch.. lol pretty bad. I'm looking at a place near 401 and young area. near yorkdale mall im looking at this weekend. looks promising. But i'll def keep those other places on my no list. Thanks

I have a girlfriend who lives on Jarvis and Wellesley.... Went out walking at night time. They had this thing called "A Big gay prom" thing going on that weekend. The things I saw walking down Wellesley that night in a span of a Kilometer... lol

401 and yonge and Yorkdale mall, both decent. I'd take 401 and yonge over Yorkdale

the area around U of T (Spadina) is a good spot for cheap temporary dwellings, lots of students subletting and shit

Thanks for the reply guys. Checking out a pad tomorrow near yorkdale and another on young and 401. Thankfully there was a place on Queen st east/Broadview that was cheap. thx for the heads up on that one. didn't bother looking
