Here's another thought tho. What do you guys think of turning this server into a duplicate of the no awp TD? Just an idea. Do you think it would be more popular and people would play there if pub #1 is full?

i suggested that, but it was shot down by a couple of og's and sj because they thought that having a #2 server would slow down the traffic on #1 and that both servers would have moderate traffic.

Was half full (15/24) while the main pub was full last night. Was great :), but was kinda laggy.

what's the command to lower the volume of other people's mic. I have the steam voice system set to ZERO and it has no effect, and in game volume controls don't seem to adjust either

I have to lower my game volume to super low levels just to shut people up.

You can try fucking with voice_threshhold. Just look for voice_xxxx, where xxxx=whatever's available. I know css had/has voice_avggain, which when increased will level everyone's microphone (compression), it was beautiful. As for straight up turning them down, I don't know :S
