This Steam account does not own this game

Hey guys,

I have gotten this error twice now in the past few weeks and it's fucking annoying. I go to join the server and it stops me and an error comes up saying "This steam account does not own this game, Please login to the correct steam account."

Both times this has happened after an update so I wonder if it's just Valve catching up with verifying the accounts? I have re-installed CSS, Steam, and deleted the .blob file like I have been told and still, nothing.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I do own this game ;)

close steam.exe from your processes. go to your base steam folder, delete clientregistry.blob and restart steam

It happened to me a few weeks ago after an update too. An admin on the steam forums said it was something on their side and it would take a few hours to correct. It really sucks though and usually it does it to all your steam games lol.

Balls... Been happening since Friday. New server and I can't even play on it. What a pain in the ass. Thanks again Steam! =D
