Alrighty then. What a waste of my fucking day, but hopefully that's the last of it. If I had asd much money as Warren Buffet I would become a vigilante. I would travel to all the third world fucking African, Asian and Eastern Block shithole countries, I would find the hackers and I would kick their fucking doors down. Then I would tie them up and cut off both their hands as they squealed like little whores. I would leave them in a pool of blood trying desperately to call for medical help with no fucking hands. They would never write code again. And I wouldn't use a surgical cut either, I would use a rusty fucking hacksaw.

And in my spare time I would find those 419 scammers in Africa, you know the "I inherited 50 million dollars and I need your help to get it..." people, and I would gather them all in a nightclub for drinks on me, then I would sneak out the back, barricade the doors and burn that motherfucker to the ground.

i'm on ubuntu 8.10 running firefox 3.0, no problems here...good thing my gaming PC is offline, it uses windows and i have no anti-virus...though i do run ubuntu from my 8gb OCZ rally when i watch pron, surf, crack, and download...then i scan the files, move them to a 1.5gb partition i left aside to access from windows...i use my windows environment to play games only...
PHP code cannot change by its self. Hence, this was injected via. 1. Some upload script that allowed someone to upload a web script (like php) onto the server
Or the more likely reason
2. you were on a shared host with absolute shit security. someone who had an account on your box ran a script to search all index.php files on the server and modify it. Index.php because its the most common (hence why this is the most likely reason, its a general attack, not specific to td I'm guessing)
Only way to stop that is....get off your homo host.

Wrong and wrong. The box is tight, it's a VPS account, so it's seperated.
I think the homo password they gave me on the new account, which was a very basic dictionary word, was sniffed out and a script was installed that infected all the index.php files.
