But Fork, welcome to the apocalypse. Nobody is your friend, you can't trust a soul, and people will shoot and kill you on sight. In the beginning, your best chance was to be on mumble and try to coordinate with your friends. Gun's were rare, and so was ammo.

Now with clan tags its a bit easier, so get 47 to add you to the clan, and I'll show you around to some spots tonight. I'll drop you a mossberg. It doesn't kill shit, but it will make you feel better about yourself.

but i mean there are so many things right there in front of me that can be used as weapons but the game won't allow me to do it

You've fallen victim to server hoppers, probably.

This is how it works, random stuff spawns at specific spots on the map, on predefined time intervals. Now, weapon spawns are not garunteed but some spots spawn more often than others (military base, echo, etc)

SO, what people do is run to one of these spots, check, and bounce to another server, which loads them in exactly the same place.

This creates contention for certain resources and inevitably leads to conflict. For example, if you're alone, unarmed, you're going to want to avoid Clearview, smallville and campos, or else you will positively get raped by bandits. Promise you that.

So yeah, basically this is how we tend to operate, sweep solo trying to get shit, run it back to safe zone, risking your fucking neck.
