oh, and Beej, you'll either love this game or fucking hate it, and the learning curve is steep.
Not really from a point of learning what your jump button is, but surviving the first 15 minutes will be a challenge. It will probably seem like "Bush running simulator 2012 with texture pack add on, enterprise edition SP3"
You'll be shot on sight, you'll have your shit rummaged through, and left just to hover around in third person while you raaaage all the day away. No kill cams, no nothing, just death.
Then, maybe, you'll get a drop, an AK, and split the wig of some newb in Campos and hook up with a bro in a field.
Rolling in groups is a must. Back in the day, before they had clan indicators, you would just have to jump to identify friend or foe. This was fun, because in good firefights, you'd have to flank your enemies, and you'd have to ensure you were on point to rock a funky joint, and not blast 44
Now, its tits, we all pretty much know the loot spots, and are pretty co-ordinated when sweeping a town. Bro's for the most part share loot/weapons, which is pretty good for the overall health of the team. You might run across the occasional cocksucker, but for the most part, the bro's are pretty good. It's fun to ambush bitches, and if one of them gets the drop on you, back bone up and return fire. Don't die without at the very least, getting enemy strength, weapons, and location.
It's good times. Your counterstrike skills will come in handy, for sure.
