Seems like a mixed bag of feelings towards this.

Some agreeing with anything and jumping on the 'DayZ is better' bandwagon.

Some are saying this guy abused his Mod power, got banned and is now raging at the company.
Apparently the position of Forum Mod was a post that ANYONE could apply too, so really he shouldn't know this much inside information from the devs as he was JUST a Forum Mod.

After doing a TON of research into War Inc and the engine it uses and the anti-cheats, this statement Is pure bullshit,

Their anti-hack is actually functional but here's the kicker..wanna know WHY their bans are TEMPORARY the first time around? 0.8% hacking? Try an EXTREMELY LARGE PORTION of the player base is hacking. If they banned everyone they'd have a mass refund issue on their hands, and no one to play their piss poor of an excuse game.

Walk to fast = Ban
Jump to high = Ban
Kill someone who isn't in your line of sight = Ban

There even is a client side screen shot like PunkBuster has.

The refund issue is a problem, people are Buying>Hacking>Getting Banned>Refunding through PayPal
So far I haven't run into hacks since Sunday, every death as been total legit derpness or bad luck spawn.

As a person who plays WarZ I can confirm that it is incredibly p2w right now. They use the excuse that you can find everything you need for the shop in the game, but having played for at least 36 hours I have only found 1 cash bundle that can be bought in store, which was less than the amount needed to buy a can of soup let alone a weapon.
 
The citys are usually fucked oVer by either hackers or the one douchebag who spent his parents pocket money on a sniper rifle that is near impossible to find ingame. The game is a mess, citys are being put forward that have empty buildings and no loot drops, it is completely in balanced at the start and the website was full of errors and typo's even before it was shut down. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

They all claim everyone and their mother hacks yet i havent run into a single 1 yet. The last few nights of firefights we had were all legit. I dont recall any of us getting hacked in any way, shape or form.

EDIT: I can make up stuff too: I have very very very solid insider informations regarding Valve: VAC only bans players who are playing more than 6 hours a day because Valve knows that those people are so hooked to the game that they will redo their steam account and rebuy the game. Yes, VAC isn't an anti cheating program, it's a "give me your money"-program.

1. You are reading the post of a jilted employee who obviously has a large bias and is trying to paint the company in as unfavourable light as possible. Who has provided no proof at all of his claims.
2. The hacking thing most likely isn't true. If the hacker is banned for breaking ToS they have no right to a refund.
3. Every body already knew it was a straight port from war inc. Pretty sure the developers admitted this themselves though not in such straight forward terms.
4. Of course they will stop supporting it if they don't make money out of it. You think Rocket and Bohemia will continue to support the day Z standalone if they stop making money on it ? This is business, stop being stupid. At a certain point it would start losing them money to keep supporting it and there isn't a business out there that actively wants to lose money. If a product isn't making money then it likely isn't popular so no more reason to keep supporting it.

And before anyone chimes in and tries to act like Day Z is free and makes Bohemia no money, It is not free and it has made them more money than any other product they have made. You have to buy Arma 2 CO and since the release of Day Z Arma 2 sales have risen by over 500%.
