Have any of you guys read this series? For the record it is not a conventional vampire book, its actually about a alien invasion and the enslavement of humanity to a kurians.

Hmm, maybe I will! I've been looking for a good book to read (haven't read one in so long, I've been kinda craving it), however so far I've only found candidates that are government-style, somewhat-conspiracy, financial-meltdown type of shit... like "truth" books, I suppose. I don't buy into it, but I do find them incredibly entertaining.

Same here, don't read half as much as I should be. Would love to run to Chapters and pick something up but I honestly don't even know what I would be interested in lol. This may be something worth taking a look at.

last good apocalypse book i read was The Road, by the same dude that wrote No Country for Old Men. It was OK, interesting writing style. maybe ill pick this one up.
