I am not saying that people who have strecher's automatically like metal and are automatically gay I am saying that the new generation of "metal fans" are getting very trendy and body modification seems to be what they are into and it makes metal heads as a whole in north america especially... look like a bunch of flamming asshats lol also I am free to dislike what ever I please because fact is

Most people who listen to metal are poser's especially most chicks lol a lame attempt to get the attention of men .

And most people who have Stretchers are slightly metro ... if not borderline homosexual

mix that all together you get a failing generation .

more assumptions, but okay. it's not a new trend at all. it started in the 80's, and it could be argued it started in 60s with the psychedelic movement. hair metal, new wave, hippies with long hair and no showers, this 'body modification' stuff isn't new, nor should it concern you what one does to their body. you can dislike whoever you'd like, but you should be wary of grouping people together based on looks. making friends and meeting new people based on how they look automatically excludes people who aren't defined by what they wear, which is the vast majority of them. the ones who do do it are usually kids who are lost and searching for an identity, or do it to ride the bandwagon. and the most important part? There's absolutely no way to tell.

edit: i notice your issue might be with homosexuals, not poser metalheads. yes?

Stretchers really did not become popular until the 21th century . as well none of those genres had any influence on stretchers that is just it could be argued sure but you would be wrong I mean king tut ( 1341 BC – 1323 BC)had stretchers I don't think black sabbath stumbled upon it that is for damn sure all those genres helped discover were drugs and sexual diseases

I can assure you today's modern use for this in no way religious or traditional , It may be slowly carving it's way into a part of North American culture but I mean you know it's nothing more then vanity . No man in there right mind goes out and says ... damn these 1 inch and a half stretchers really make me look like a man I mean hell I can fit my fist through it chicks must dig that right? (sadly yes because they are just as brainwashed as the fool who allows his ears to get cut up so it can look like a cats asshole) but to not drag this on too long and get to the point . Do I have a problem with gay's yah I think that is a stunt in evolution but my primary concern is with people making incredibly stupid choices even if it is none of my business because the less monkey eared, inked up , absent minded fucks I have to deal with the better for me the better for the rest of the earth , because the person worrying about what size there ears are stretched too are more then likely not making informed decision and they are more then likely not doing anything to further the progress of the world I live in that would be the main problem I have I guess :D

Metal just happens to harbour a lot of these individuals, also New wave is the 80's not 60's :P

I just don't know what to tell you.

That entire sentence has nothing to do with the topic at hand that is 100% side tracking but I will humor it with a response , for the very reason that I am very well aware of myself and I assure you very truthful , I see through most bullshit in this world and that is why I sound irritated with most people. The shortest and sweetest answer I can give you to explain what I feel justifies my strong sense of criticism is the people who you actually trust to govern your world/ country don't actually give a damn about you or myself , so it is in my hopes that there are more people like me worried for the sakes of others so that maybe one day a few things may fall in favour of us the people and not the people brainwashing the generations to come .

New Chelsea Grin. they picked up Born of Osiris' old guitarist who (fun fact) toured as All Shall Perish's lead guitar when he was only 17.
Glad hes not just a good player but a good writer too. Sounded a bit sporadic but i like the sound. the clean vocals came out pretty good too.
