Wow thats so epic, not even I can balance that well on a bike

That's the idea
I personally love robotics/technology. Honestly, who cares if there are jobs for people as long as we have food and stuff. Its not the future that I'm worried about, its the gray area between now and then. Once "the future" comes, I don't see a problem with a self sufficient factory that just pops out our food which is automatically delivered to our homes without a human intervening. Gives us more time to enjoy our lives.... and by that I mean get lazy and fat.
It's not the machines you should be afraid of, its the bastard humans that use them to replace workers and get rich. People who aren't ok with just making a profit, want to be as bloody rich as possible. Imagine if for each machine that replaced a human the price of the product went down by how much they saved in the labor? Eh? Instead the money saved goes into greedy pockets and people with less/shittier jobs still have to pay the same amount.
I don't know anything, ANYTHING, about global economics so I'm sure there's plenty of holes in my logic but... I like inventions + technology.

thats where wealth distrubtion comes into play
[/quote1225922825]
Good luck with wealth distribution.... as for auron....as soon as you can replace a worker with e "robot" it will be done...then only the rich will become richer and poor stay poor...we're digging our own graves by allowing this shit to continue...also NANOMACHINES?.... get out of the video game world...still a long time before that shit happens.. however MGS4 was a very fun and eye opening game.

Actually nanotechnology used in machines isnt far off, they already sell machines that make carbon nanotubes (the machines usually cost like $30,000) and the military already uses nanotechnology in thier body armour and electronics.
