I don't even care, at this point I'll vote for whatever castrates Trudeau. So far every time he's in the papers for opening his mouth, what comes out is the most ignorant, irresponsible thoughts and ideas imagineable. I wouldn't trust him to lead the fucking gay pride parade let alone the country.
Some what agree, he seems to be a really big Derp. He Should have waited and let someone else run.

We need a different dictator with minority government. I'd rather a castrated, useless government (like we had before) than this Obama-wanna-be. Internationally, Canada is beginning to be known the same as US, and I don't like that, we don't invade people.

This act, termed the "Fair Elections Act", is also making it illegal for Election Canada to educate young Canadians about itself, or the methods of voting. So basically, Harper wants the voting pool to only consist of 30-60 y/o old geezers.

In all seriousness, I don't even think age has anything to do with it. I feel the bill just wants to further close the circle of who actually knows what the fuck is going on. I'd be willing to bet that over 50% of voters don't truly understand the politics involved, let alone the system in place. This is just like banking, insurance, credit... all jargon formulae that, when evaluated mathematically is completely baseless.

True, but Harper is still targeting young adult anyway. When this passes, it would technically be easier for a Paki who has only been here long enough to get citizenship to vote than a high school graduate who has taken a course on Canadian Civil Studies (it's mandatory in most HS curriculum). To me, this and to be able to silence election fraud, seems like a move for Harper to secure another majority govt.

This quote is a lie. In an earlier article that was published a couple weeks ago, Poilievre said he wanted to eliminate Elections Canada's ability to educate the public because it was not increasing political engagement among young adults. I don't have the article now, because his logic was political engagement among young adults are neither decreasing or increasing, and since it's not increasing at a significant amount, we should get rid of it and leave it to the political parties to fill the role.
