I'm New Here
Sunday, may 3rd, at around 5:30 PM EST, I was fooling around with console commands on server #1, particularely i found that i could repeated kill myself using the wait command, and found it kinda funny. Upon lowering my wait time in the script i made to '50' i was seemably auto-banned by the server. Now, im not sure exactly what this is all about, because i don't particularely remember anything in the rules about scripting, with the exception of cheating and bhopping. I would like an explanation on why i've been banned, and weather or not it is permanent. Furthermore, I was once a main on server #1, but then took a break from tf2 to play other games; i find it quite dissapointing that after all this time, i come back to the server just to be banned :c
(i was formerly GMFRK99, currently i am YETI CRAB)

Death by Darkly
Those types of scripts (ones that kill you repeatedly and very fast, due to the instant respawn) have become rampant lately, and are absolutely terrible for server performance, occasionally causing crashes. As a result, we've implemented a system to autoban players who use such scripts. These bans last 5 minutes and do not go onto any official record. If you get auto-banned, it just means you were doing it too fast and could have harmed the server, we don't have any problems with that kind of thing otherwise. It's just a protection measure.
