may i ask what does it mean when an app is being "watched" ?

It means y̶o̶u̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶l̶k̶e̶d̶. Nah, I think it means that current staff basically keep an eye out for you
and 'observe' you to see if you're a good candidate to become a staff member.
