Terraria

So then, I was just curious. Do any of you here in Darkly play Terraria?
Have you ever even tried it?

Also, what are your thoughts on it?

Personally I think it's a pretty fun game, and I even think it's better than Minecraft in some ways.
I like how you can get a variety of different armours, weapons, mobs, bosses etc. Minecraft doesn't really have that.
To me I see Minecraft as a giant virtual Lego for me to play around with, with the occasional monster attacking me and animal running around.
So I like both of them equally, but in terms of variety, Terraria wins it for me.

Also, what are your thoughts on the fact that they are going to stop developing Terraria?

I think because of this, it's finally time for me to stop playing Terraria.
Like I said, the reason I liked it was the variety of items. But once you've beat the game and have everything, there isn't much else to do...
So not developing it or adding anything new would really kill the game for me. :/

i played it when it first came out when there were only a handful of armors/weapons so i cant really comment on the items.

me and a couple other people from td played it at the beginning and it was quite enjoyable.

the game was fun at the start but watered down quickly once there wasnt anything else to do

Yeah that's how it goes for me..once I have all the items and things like that there really isn't anything to do...

If you only played it right at the start you should give it another go.
It has changed a lot since then, and I really do mean a lot.

It's changed quite a bit for me, and I havn't been playing since the very start, so it would probably look completely different to you :)
