[VX_EX]- GLADIATOR

I'm New Here
Game Handle(s): DARKLY -|- GLADIATOR
SteamID: 497768
Previous Clan/Community affiliations: I am in the Darkly Gaming Network group, TF2 Trading/Raffling/Gamenights group, and 2 Mann vs Machine groups: The Dis-Mann-Talers and Velox Equinox (Which I own and it the "[VX_EX]-" Community tag.
Real First Name: Mike
Age: 22
Location: Mckeesport, Pennsylvania (Its near Pittsburgh)
Which DARKLY TF2 servers do you play on: I rotate around between servers 1-5, I move around to hang around new people and go around as I please, but I tend to hang around servers 2, 3, and 4 the most.
Why do you want to be a DARKLY TF2 Admin: I think it is something that I could do, and I feel that the community on the servers has done a great job to me for giving me a nice place to play, and have a fun and enjoyable time spending time to play and talk to the people and trade. I have seen people come on to the server that don't deserve to be in these servers for Micspamming, excessive racist remarks, and simply just being bad players on the friendly trade servers. Some of these servers, especially Servers 4 and 5, I haven't seen any Moderators or Administrators there, despite me probably putting in a good 20-30 hours to that server alone. I would like to bring some peace and order to any DARKLY server that I would be assigned to, cleaning up the community one person at a time.

YES/NO Questions:

Do you have a minimum of 1 month on the server with at least 60 hours of play? Yes
Do you have a mic? Yes
Are you in good standing with the community? Yes
Are you at least 18 years of age? Yes

Hey man, it's nice to see you finally put an application up! I have seen you on servers #3 and #4 before but never really noticed you helping anyone out besides the typical trading stuff (of course that doesn't mean that you've never helped someone before). Also, seeing as you're new to the forums, you should introduce yourself to the community which you can do by clicking here. Getting to know how things work around here is key to the success of you being accepted. I've too came across the problem of no staff presence on those servers and you can always file out a report on a player or multiple players by clicking here. With that being said, being around you in-game you do seem like a nice and mature person.

Also, it's nice to finally meet someone else who lives in PA! :D

Overall, I'm going to +1 you.

No.. Stan is just like the new Richard.. Always stealing people's thunder. But anyways, let me help you with your application. Your SteamID is STEAM_0:1:27179679. And that is actually pretty much it, because there is nothing else wrong in this application. As Stan said, introduce yourself to the community, as knowing potential mods is something that is needed lol.. But anyways, stick around, and good luck!

Hello, I honestly can't say I've seen you much or at all for that matter so I can't really put a vote on it, I also checked your chat logs they seem to be fine and nothing too bad there but I would suggest enforcing the rules on both mic and in chat just in case they don't have their sound on, but either way I wish you the best of luck but for now my vote will stay +0.

I mostly play on Darkly trade/idle server #2 cause every time I get on tf2, that's the most active one out of the darkly servers. Stick around, I'll try to look for ya.

You need to stick around and get yourself noticed within the community. 1 post (being your application) isn't looking to promising atm...

Try flaming other threads to get noticed. :) But to seriously get noticed, try opening some of your own threads, and make the thread popular so other people will also post in it. When they post, that means that you got their attention. Once you get their attention, post more interesting stuff. After that, they would love hear about you. But, like I always say in an app, stick around, and good luck!

Its probably due to me lacking the want to say anything, whenever I do say anything, I keep it short and to the point, I don't socialize. I cut to the chase, do my job, and move on, and my "Job" in Darkly Servers, is to trade, go shoot some people, and have a good time while giving those around a good time as well, I don't face anyone that seems to break the rules. So I am never needed to intervene against it.
Now...
stick around and get yourself noticed
How, what do you really think I have to say, not trying to sound rude or coy. I simply don't have anything to say, and I don't want to just speak some mindless garbage that just takes space in Forum to fulfill some "Post Quota" that I don't see a purpose of.

There is no real "post quota", but it is important the community knows you better and that you're dedicated to this position.

Yeah, what am I to say,
I simply don't have anything to say, and I don't want to just speak some mindless garbage that just takes space in Forum
Nothing I have to say is of interest, except for this, and the only reason it is of interest is due to the possible addition of a new member to the staff that overlooks the civilians that play the Darkly servers.

I don't face anyone that seems to break the rules.
Then this is not the job for you.

Your job as a Moderator is to enforce the rules and regulations of the servers and to inform those that are disobeying them. Basically, you intervene in conflicts that arise.

It would be most beneficial for you and your application too interact with the community in order to get to know them better; as well as the people that make a final decision on these. It would be like giving the keys to your brand new Ferarri away to a stranger you saw on the street.
