There is no way to test it unless we are right at the box. If it's in a datacenter it will certainly be better than a T1 though.

It's an interesting idea.

Going to cause some confusion... before we post a ban or anything like that we'll have to clarify on what server, etc. Not a huge deal. TD growing certainly isn't a bad thing but I'm sure we'll have some growing pains.

Well it's not a division bucky, it's an expansion. Server is pretty busy now, maybe we can attract some western canadian players, most of who play on Seattle servers now. I am not expecting guys from Ontario to play on it, but we have a few guys from the west here who wouldn't mind the 10 ping you guys enjoy there.

10 ping!...I wish, I'm 80 clicks from front street and I get 110 ping . Hell TD.West may be better.

How the fuck do you manage 110 ping 80 clicks away? I get ~55 ping and I'm on the other side of the planet.

1) Shit you can yell the information quicker than that.
2) What are you using, a 2400 baud?
3) Better clean your pipes out for faster interwebs

I hope that me being in Thunder Bay will mean better ping to Calgary than to Toronto. Though I have speed tested to a server in Calgary before and the speed was shit.. Can't wait to find out tho.

Not sure what's going on with da ping. It's been creeping up from 20 last year to over 100 now.
Doesn't matter which computer in the house I use, bypassing router doesn't help and Bell keeps telling me nothing is wrong ( what a pain in the ass they are )
I may go with the local cable Co. in the new year. Until then I choose to clean my pipes, after all my wife calls me the "Sperminator" you know.
