TD member review of BC2(for those thinking of buying)

Title says it all, you guys who just got it arch, pwnion, spinny, ice, brains, skdmrk, etc tell the others what you think of it! and if it is worth getting!

i was skeptickal about the game... but wow i played for 6 hrs yest alone and had tons to do. Game is not boring at all continuious play no PITAs so far. whats better than knifing spinny, crashing a helicopter into buckshot, and shooting steve in the mouth (insert gay joke)

Coming into this game I was very skeptical also. I had been seriously disappointed with the last two battlefield games and was not going to buy into "the hype" until I played it myself.

This game is a very fun "mini battlefield" with small maps(by BF standards) and only 32player multi-player.

This game is a much more complicated shooter than CSS. Much more is going on; at any moment stve might throw c4 in your window and blow you harder than iCe when he took those 6 dirty dicks in a row

visually this game is amazing. Everything is destructible and everything does get destroyed lol!

game modes: the two main game modes are conquest and rush. Rush features one team the attackers(the winners) and other team the defenders(the losers). At each stage the attackers must rush to plant two bombs before they bleed their ticket count(total respawns left). 3-5 stages per map. Conquest is where each team has a uncap able spawn base and they both fight over control of the 3-5 flag points on the map.

BUY THIS GAME! The only thing it lacks at times is "TD"

the Game is very fun. solid gameplay the guns feel like they handle like real guns would. physics is amazing nades bounce the way they would and you can blow everything up its awsome. my only complaint is with EA online thing. the friends system sux ive sen invites to all the TD members a few times and theyt dont get them and leroy sent me one 3 times one night and i didnt get anyof them. i think both people need to be in the menu otherwise it wont send.

At first I thought the game was hard and didn't like it too much because I was so used to CSS. It is very different compared to CSS. But after playin it for a few hours I was hooked! This game is siiick. I love how u can destroy ANYTHING in the game. All the gun are sick too. I also love how you actually have to aim at someone to hit them, meaning u can't just spray.

This game's got a lot of what MW2 didn't, however, the game play is totally different. a wide open battlefield changes the recipe in so many ways.

Graphics - 9/10
Sound - 10/10
Gameplay - 9/10
Multiplayer - 8/10
Singleplayer - 10/10
Controls - 7/10
Overall - 53/60 = 90%

its a sweet game, but theres some oddities considering control of character, the knifing function is slow and misses alot when it should hit. sometimes when you are running your character slides around. and grenades are thrown Much farther than one would expect (not a big deal, but its weird)

only thing this games missing is a decent Team chat system. Vent shouldn't be required on for multiplayer games these days.


overall, its a sick game, worth the buy. You'll need a pretty high-end PC to run it though.EA Just needs to fix a few things first before you can call it the best game ever.

Word of Warning: this game is MUCH harder to play than MW2 and CS:S. takes a few days to get a good feel for the game before you can start tearing it up. and by tearing it up i mean breaking an even K/D ratio. Battlefield veterans might not have such a hard time.

^i got no complaints. in game sounds are insanely realistic and with surround sound its so much fun. i play this when im alone so i can crank the sound up and let my subwoofer go crazy when gunfire is near. so fun.

Graphics - 9/10 - Great graphics
Sound - 8/10 - Good sound.. if I had never played CSS. You will not be able to hear enemy foot steps as well as in CSS. This is more of a visual reponse game then audio.
Gameplay - 9/10 - Fun. Could be funner with more people and bigger maps/DZ/higher sky ceilings
Multiplayer - 9/10
Singleplayer - ?/10 - Haven't played
Controls - 10/10 - They did a good job of replicating a "BF feelings" while making a more CSS/MW2 style shooter
Overall - 45/50 90%

Its not "messed". It just isn't CSS sound.

im running at medium 1440x900 with no problems whatsoever

i downloaded the game to play single player and i found it to be weak... cliche sayings and not that realistic in some instances. mostly involving AI.
just my opinion, but games that are like this in single player are lame. i'm getting it for the multiplayer, and by the sounds of it, its good.
