i like it. looking at the logo without knowing what server i was in, i wouldnt know what it was. But if you look for a "TD" its there.
I like these types of logos...kindof like graffiti, where u cant always distinguish what the words are..but its still awesome art.

I don't think anyone was being dismissive or insulting towards White's work. What you're referring to as "

fuck white thats awesome. i love the border-less one. its a really nice piece of design. my only gripe is that including the words Toronto darkly there ruins it. the consept behind modern logos like this is if you dont know what this is we dont want you here; telling the viewer what it is defeats the porpous.

I like the logo its pretty sick.
Drwing fron what Clash said, I agree to get rid of the name at the bottom. Make it look classier, but not pretentious.
Perhaps defining the logo with some color, so its a 2 color logo would help. Just throwing out some ideas.

Haha, like low budget, the faces were thrown in for fun and are NOT part of the logo/design.

Kinda of what I was aiming for. A basic T and D is, in my opinion, boring and can be found in a grade 5 art class or the side of a bank

Thnx, the words Toronto Darkly and the faces aren't part of the logo. They were put there for humor/extra. An updated image adjusts a few more things in my 1st post. Those words can be incorporated into the logo itself, but its just not the same. This way, it defines TD as this logo. Words and pictures can be added afterwards into banners, wallpapers, sprays, forums pics, etc.
This is just the logo.
