Steam Chat Text - Halp

So for some reason when I turned my PC on earlier...the Steam Chat Text has decided to make itself bigger than it was last night.
For comparison: Before
(self admitted scammer, need to talk to someone at SR about it)

After:
(Mandy is useless :3)

I had a quick google and found this page: http://www.overclock.net/t/999232/a-quick-guide-on-how-to-increase-font-size-in-steam-chats
I did that and changed the sizes to 12 but nothing happened when I restarted Steam.

Anyone know what's happened? or How to fix...

**UPDATE**
I tried the fix in that link a second time, turns out the numbers re-set themselves the first time.
This time it worked and everything is back to normal.
