Don't worry, I got this. :challengeaccepted:

Let's start ruling this out one by one. The quickest thing to do right now is to vacuum all the air vents on your laptop. If it's caked-on splooge, I personally recommend Goo-Gone, but anyway I digress...

Next, download and run memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/). It's been a while since I've used it, but just burn it onto a CD/DVD and have it boot off of your CD/DVD-ROM

If that fails, then it's your memory. If it passes, then you need to buy leaf blower, strip the motor & fan unit off of it and attach it to your laptop. This will make sure it's not running hot.

Sorry, I meant just download and run LOLOL

but yeah, you'll need to access you BIOS and change the boot setting/order to CD/DVD-ROM first, pop in the CD/DVD with Memtest86 on it and it should boot straight into it.

As for the warranty thing, I would log the problem with Toshiba anyway. This way there's a record of the problem before the warranty expires. Rather than you trying to fix it and find out it's not something you can do/requires new hardware and now the 10 days has passed and you're SOL.

Btw, I can't remember if it's an memtest86 is in .iso format, but if so, get ImgBurn (freeware) to burn that image. Good luck.

Hey hey, just saw this. Ok, so Windows won't boot, it just keeps rebooting into repair mode, right?
EDIT: I'm on Steam all day, add me and message me, I can definitely help (if this is an option for you).

lol oh what - EVER! lol

I can already tell it's just a Windows fail, there's an easy way to fix this.

Load Windows recovery, let it scan and find nothing, then bottom left click "Advanced Command Prompt" blah blah
- Then use something called Bootrec to fix the boot partition.

Or you can boot of any windows 7 disk to get to the same fix.

The laptop has no hardware issue, and so Toshiba is just going to format the entire computer and then you're fucked - manufacturers don't save fuck all. On top of that, they may charge you ~$60 for the hour labour it takes to do that (manufacturers DO NOT cover software issues!!!)

No problem.
Let your laptop boot up into recovery, do it's scan, and most likely tell you "We can't find shit cause we're useless" message. Then, DO NOT REBOOT!

Once it fails, you'll be here:

Click on "Command Prompt"

Once command prompt opens, use Bootrec to fix the mothafucka. Let me know when you're in command prompt and I'll walk you through the commands.

EDIT: Ok, saw your last message, and no worries. I'll monitor this thread to see when you post and I'll help you out asap.
