intel . im first in the game every time. ratings r bullshit obv if they rate it same as 7200rpm.

ive looked on the internet, other ppl have the same rating of 5.9 with their ssd's.

anyway, should i raid that shit or what ?

Here's a little thing about Windows Experience Index. First off, it tests fuck all. Secondly, it reads the hardware device ID, and thereby automatically assigns it a rating. For example, after taking my quad-core from 2.4Ghz to 3.4Ghz nothing changed in the "Index", however 3dMark scores went up huge.

Conclusion: When did we ever trust "Windows" to tell us what's good? lol

1 stupid question, did you redo the testing? I have a few people online that swap their 7200rpm with a ssd in their laptop, and the score did indeed improve from 5.9 to 7.2 I think.

man u should look into that, i think there's things about over loading your SATA ports, hardware vs software raid....

but raid 0 sounds fast, also i heard that intel ssd write speeds are artificially handicapped, maybe theres a way to unlock the power

http://www.canadacomputers.com/prod..._id=021907&sid=5os880bhcg7iiaq74r8vc7uee3

might want to grab that or similar so you can make 10 backups if u need too.

http://www.runtime.org/driveimage-xml.htm

i used that to make backup images, when i set up some of my systems i made like a 40gb partition and dumped the .xml backups to it for reasy recovery
