My mom is mad at me for having pica syndrome, i feel like I'm making my family waste money on therapy and other doctors. My pica is associated with eating and chewing foam, so tear up couch cushions and anything with foam and that's making my mom mad.

I have tried to keep my mind off of eating the red-clay dirt. I can't, for 2 weeks I have not ate it, and so I thought why not start eating chalk again, and I went and bought some, BUT it didn't taste the way the red-clay taste or it didn't fulfill my taste buds. Like, I have hardcore cravings fir red-clay dirt right now, I feel really sick, like my body is shaking and my head hurts and I am not myself. I want to go outside and eat the red-clay dirt. I can't study for my finals and I feel so sick! What should I do? Break my vow and eat it or just keep it away, and see if my body will adapt to not eating it?
B2)(response to B) threegirls
I love eating red clay, too. My mouth waters when I think about it. I live in the midwest and can't find any safe, clean red clay. I like the gritty kind. I used to eat it as a little girl when my mom would get if from her folks who lived in the south. She would bake it in the oven and let it dry overnight and start crunching away. I loved the taste and never forgot it. When I became pregnant I would crave it, until my doc prescribed prenatal vitamins for me.
wow I could read this for ever ahahah priceless and seriously messed
