OMG, just looked at Fido's website (I'm with Fido) to check when my current contract is up to grab a next phone), and they're asking $350 on select 2 year plans for the Q10. LOL, are they joking?!?
EDIT: Just noticed in small text, "If you're already a Fido customer, you can get a Blackberry Q10 for $200 on select 3year plans".
I think I'm going to buy the phone outright, unlocked, unbranded and never renew a contract again. There is literally no reason to sign a contract anymore. Fuckin CRTC makes me rage.

You can get a cheaper plan if you renew contract. Tell them you want to cancel and then the cock sucking will commence.
I'm paying $60+tax a month for Unlimited Canada wide calling, Unlimited Canada/US text, 3GB data, and all that other aids. I'm on Rogers so the network is good unlike the aids that is Wind.

pay as you go in Canada = aids for people that actually use their phone.

It is here mostly, but companies like 02 offer different tarrifs.
I used to be on £15 a Month, with that I would keep my £15, but I would get Unlimited calls and Texts to other 02 Numbers.
This was good because my girlfriend was also on 02, basically the only person I care to text.
But then she got a contract with another company.
So now I'm on something called Pay & Go go go with them.
There are others like £10 a month, which you get like texts and international calls and stuff.
We just got new work phones two weeks ago, and to our disappointment, they gave us all the 9900. Better than the 8300 we had before I guess.

My current plan:
- Unlimited Canada Wide Calling $50
- No zone (all of Canada is local, no matter where I am) $10
- Caller ID/Call waiting $6
- 6GB Data $30

Total $96 + tax
Same bill every month, no issues. It is expensive, but I really don't use more than a GB or two per month, so perhaps I could save on that. Problem is, the closest plan is $60+tax/month, and that's pretty much what I have except my 'No-Zone' perk and 2 GB Data. So let's say $70+tax/month with my 'No-Zone' perk, then I'm saving $20, but at a third of the data. So for me, I've stayed put :S
