but anyways

Skins, last night I was playin and I was using my skins no problem, I came on this morning, and I cant use them anymore.....

Could you just enable the V_ files to be used for the skins, as apose to the W_ and V_.... I just use skins cuz I HATE the valve guns. I even delete all my W_ files so I dont have any advantage over anyone.....

Will this be fixed oor did i open a big can of shit?

fuck i just tried connecting and i got the same thing. custom sounds and skins are no longer allowed aparently. looks like i have to reinstall the fuckin game. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

k well the only things i have modded are the gun skins, sounds, animations, and hawt hosties. just downloaded some of the packs from fpsbanana. I hope i can keep them because the source engine is getting old and my ubersweet computer feels like its goin to waste when i play. I just added these so it looks nicer.

Custom guns/sounds/animations dont really offer anyone any specific advantages so if we can keep them i will love you for it. maybe ill even let you bust out that cowboy hat narf.

Well, I'm a huge proponent of allowing custom content, but, like I said, it got rolled out prematurely. I leave work in an hour and a half (early, I have to fix this) and it'll be my numero uno priority.

Aplogies I was messing with zblock testing it today when no one was around, and was still playing with it when guys wanted to play, it's not what we need on the server. Once again sorry for any problems this may have caused.

its all good guys. its nice to see ANY activity towards improving our server rather than just doing nothing. we all appreciate the work you guys put in so dont worry about it. only a minor inconvenience.

- it's always nice to see our BHA constantly working to improve our community/server/gameplay etc.. always worth a little trial time

I ran a cs server for 2 years, i know all about dealing wiht this shit, so ive got all kinds of patients for this kinda thing....

thx for fixing it tho!
