Sony MDR-X200. These are my DJ headphones... if they're good enough for that, then they're gold for listening to music. Just one catch, they're NOT noise-cancelling headphones (which when headphones are, price goes way up) because I like to hear what I'm mixing while listening to the current beat's kick drum (without sending the current track to my headset).
About $50, I bought 'em at Wallmart...
