I'm trying to set up my mouse for more accurate game play. Please share with others what mouse and settings you use, plus what your in game sensitivity is.

I'm using a Logitech G500 mouse. My setpoint settings are:
X/Y DPI settings: 400, 800, 2000 (I stay on 800)
Speed: OS (set to 8)
Acceleration: OS (set to 1)
Report Rate: 500
In Game Mouse Sensitivity: 2.14

Acceleration should be 0 and OS sensitivity should be what ever the middle notch is. (It's 6 I think?)

That way there is no software "enhancement" which is really a detriment to any FPS game.

400DPI
Windows 7 Sensi: Middle (any lower or higher is mouse accel) - 'Enhanced Pointer Precision' unchecked
Windows 7 Mouse Accel Reg Fix Run
CS:S Sensi 1.6
CS:GO Sensi 2.6 (Don't know why, but GO needs this higher value to make it the same as it was in Source......)

This is like the third time that I've shared my mouse settings, but here we go:

Windows: 6/11 with enhance pointer precision unchecked
DPI/CPI: 450
Polling Rate: 1000Hz
CS:GO: 2 with acceleration off and raw input off

I haven't tried out the mini games in the second video, but they look like they would be useful. I agree with a lot of the other information, as well. And play lots of DM, too.

How do you guys have such low settings? 6/11 with 400 dpi barely moves the cursor
I'll speak for myself here, but it's what I've been gaming with since... forever. I use a basic Microsoft mouse and it's 400DPI, so I've always kept to that because I find anything higher (I've had mice with DPI ranging ~500-5000) is very jittery, even when attempting to compensate with very low in-game sensitivity (i.e. 5000DPI mouse with CS mouse sensitivity set to 0.3). With 400 DPI, I feel I can zip my mouse around and where it stops, it stops, and I've got great aim (not in GO, GO is cartoon shit mechanics), with no jitters.
