Since the last one failed (as many people presumed), how about we get one going that we actually follow through with.

We've had the scrim server up for a while now which has been used numerous times daily by many different players. I say we organize a few teams (depending on how many people want to participate) and get this show on the road.

Judging by how many different people ive seen scrimming, there should be enough people willing to involved to get this rolling.

So...?

No, how about this, everyone can make their own 5 man teams and we play normal rules.

Ya some teams will be more skilled than others, but who cares it'll be fun regardless. Plus we can match the stacked teams against each other at the beginning so they dont get straight to the finals.


I think the tourney would go better if people got to pick their teams, none of this "where is random-mc-faggy"

plus if this is going to be competitive i would like to be able to rely on my team mates, not get matched with players I don't want to carry.

I don't mean to be a dick, it would just be nice to pick our own teams.

we could have two-mini tourneys and have everyone play in both.

1 would be random teams

and the second would be "BYOT" bring your own team(must be a server semi-reg/known)

I can see where you are coming from but i personally would prefer to have captains and pick teams so as to make it fun and fair for everyone.

When people pick their own teams, there will be people left out or some people will not want to team with others. What is the point in having the whole tournament if all the "skilled" players are on one team thus resulting in them rolling/sweeping everyone else.

Im sure many will agree, getting rolled is anything but fun.

ahhh the point is competition.

Sure maybe 1st is out the reaches of some teams, but you can still strive for something else.. top 3 etc...

there would be 3-4 "power" teams and atleast as many decent teams..

yeah i'm up for BYOT. i don't know who would pick me, but its not a bad idea. and then maybe people would be more prone TO SHOW UP TO THE F'N THING!

Like last time, i was thinking of making the better players captins and go from there. The main reason i dont like the BYOT idea is because one team will definately be stacked and the left over players will not be nearly as good.

BUT

If the general populous prefers BYOT then so be it. BYOT it will be.

+1, I would simply suggest setting a date, and getting everyone on at once. bomb the vent. you have multiple servers for scrim. set some moderators. break into teams play 2-3 sets. keep it simple.

I'm in too ... if it will actually happen :D.
I have never ever, ever, ever, (insert 5 billions "ever" here) ... seen a TD tournament end :).
And most of the times doesn't even start lol.
