Are you fucking shitting me? The scrim server was 100% operational, with a working sourceTV box so others could remote in and view it. TESTED. (thanks BJ, narf).
I had auron, MR's help for fine tuning the little things, and I customized and TESTED the custom menu item so we didn't have to give out rcon. I set up all the menu items in our web admin tool, so that general admin could fire up the scrim server (aurons request) so that BHA wouldn't have to be around to do it.
The complaints were the door fix, and regarding the tick rate, both from you. Nobody else really cared about that, as we're not good enough to detect the difference between 0.0001 and 0.0002 response time. Remember it wasn't me that blew it all out in the first place.
Having the scrim server(s) down for the past 5 days has been way beyond my control, trust me, if I could have done it differently, I would have.

That's a lovely story.
Now that it is no longer beyond your control, how about fixing the IP tables, and add the two scrim servers to your reboot script so they start up every day with the rest of the servers when you have some time?
Thanks chum.
P.S nobody complained publicly about the reg, but every time i was scrimming, myself and others complained in game about it.
Nobody is discrediting your work, and/or your attempts to make things easier for the community.
So with all due respect to the effort you put in your tourney server, the two new scrim servers were running a lot better when we tried them yesterday than the tourney did for whatever reason it maybe.
So we all understand you are kind of upset about what happened to the tourney server, but the fact of the matter is, all this grieving and arguing and pointing fingers is not going to bring it back, nor is it going to help the current situation. So let's stop living in the past, and let's move forward united, as a community.
Group kiss/hug!
