I had some fucker come into my house to fix my internet... in the process i showed him the panel and he disconnected all the splitters, he even took them with him. (pretty much disconnected all the cable in the house)
I asked what the fuck he was doing and he told me we're not allowed to use them.
I called in and complained telling them their brown fucking techie made a mess in my house, was rude as fuck and at one point even changed the tv channel to channel 4 and watched some hindu whatever the fuck show for a couple minutes. When i mentioned the splitter incident, the guy on the phones like, yah i dont think youre supposed to have those.

So i go online to talk to their "live support" (some brown guy from buttfuck nowhere) to see what they say. I ask him about the splitters and he says they dont condone it but they cant really do anything about it. If a techie comes into my house and sees it, he'll remove it but thats about it.
Pretty lame. Ive been using splitters for cable for as long as i can remember.

In memory of your splitters, I think I'll go disconnect the filter across the street and get more channels. Then I'll chuck it in the sewer.

Apparently i was told if its not rogers equipment hooked up there he can take it. Pretty retarded.
Oh and i was watching this guy the entire time. I even asked him if hes gonna hook it back up before he leaves and he told me to wait. Then after he finished up with the internet he just walks out the door, lol wtf?

Or, rear naked choke, then drag him outside, sit him in the driver seat of his van, and leave him to wake up there on his own. What's he going to go tell his boss? The customer knocked me out and put me in my van? Who the fuck is going to believe that?

Usually your only allowed 1 tv line with basic, and to 4 tv lines with the premium pluss/digital service. Thats how cogeco works.
