Which DARKLY TF2 servers do you play on: I mainly play in #2 (due to the amount of people it has often) and #5 (this map is awesome.). I also randomly hop between servers to meet with new people and see how is the server doing.
-Why do you want to be a DARKLY TF2 Admin:
I have been in the community for a while, I applied once, but had an argument with CMP, which now I totally agree. We both had our points. But I have to say while being in this community for so long it became like my home and now I'd like to contribute to it in a more serious way. I often find admins in the community and try to police the players who are making a mess (Medic taunts in the water, spamming commands now with new steam update that messed up the permissions, and basically just trying to make new players aware of the server rules whenever I can), but I wish I could do it in a more active way. I like Darkly servers (that's why I'm on them literally everyday. And I guess my server attendance could be a good asset to the community, specially for the staff. Without anything else to say. This is my new application. Thank you for taking your time to read.

I do see you on quite a bit, you are indeed very active... (64+ days - wow!)

I do have a concern I would be interested in getting your feedback on though, to wit:

You fairly often argue/complain about gameplay on a trade server, i.e. bodyshots, getting stabbed while taunting, etc...Trade is primary, the rest is mostly incidental - as I have told you quite a few times in-game, a trade server is not the place to expect competitive gameplay..
While I can and do appreciate a competitive nature, and good-natured insults/talking shit to fellow players - you seem to get and take it alot more personally than a Staff member really can...

Before I could in good conscience give you my vote, I would need to see this addressed in your in-game behavior...because Staff responsibilities trump gameplay 112% of the time - meaning there will often be times when people will kill you while you are dealing with Staff issues, and frequently dominating you in the process - if this gets you upset then perhaps server administration is not going to be the best experience.

If you can demonstrate to me that you can take the game itself a little less seriously - I will be far more comfortable with the idea of [Staff] Ripper Dragonix

I'm around more often than you think - I just don't always announce my presence - haven't done events really since the perms went haywire, just because I'd have to ban half the damn server just to get anywhere...lol. I have been known though to join the server using my son's account from time to time - and I also check in on the chat logs every so often...

While I appreciate you making an effort to be a bit more mellow about it, and I will be watching - I'm sure you will understand that this will require a bit of observation to ensure it's not a temporary change with the purpose of getting admin. I have noticed you letting players know not to abuse the perms situation recently - it is appreciated.

Although there will be things I will not agree sometimes. I fully understand that the position of Mod requires me to conduct myself in a different way towards it and I'll keep working on it, you can bet. Thanks for the comment, CMP. Now I could be mistaken here, but I'm pretty sure teleporting, slaying and resizing other people is abusing the command issue we are currently having......

So then we agreed to not use them anymore since they were not allowed. The rest of the commands come from people that come to the server forcing perks or complete assholes that just interfere with spycrabs or other stuff. Right now there was an issue in darkly but there was no admins available. Trying contacting all the ones I have reach of, but nothing at the moment. We were dealing with a mic spammer, chat spammer and someone forcing perks at the same time. While this not justifies it. It did made them stop forcingrtd. It should not have been done, I agree.

This isn't a log of general actions - this is YOUR log, the only entries here came from your account - I have a separate log for everyone who has used an admin command, telling which server, what time and who against - there is zero ambiguity here. I might also mention that your entire log file was too large to post here - there are approx 1600 entries, and that's just the last month 9/17/14 - today.

Player "agreement" has no bearing on server rules - nor does whether anyone else is breaking the rules. This conversation isn't about anyone else, what they said or what they did - this conversation is about you and your actions - specifically about you using using the perms exploit when you know full well it is not permitted.

While it's not up to just me - this pretty much seals my vote as a solid NO.

Further, I think a ban is in order as well - I have been giving those who have been most egregiously abusing the situation a ban, those who have gone beyond resizing or using friendly on themselves to use the commands to mess with other players.

A lot of people have been abusing commands lately and being banned. While I think it's great you've applied for staff. The thing that troubles me is how can we trust you not to just slay everyone when you "arn't feeling it" or something. This is a serious matter, and I like to see what you have to say. What's drives you to abuse the commands? How can we trust you if we did promote you to a staff member position?

To answer your question:

To begin with, the reason I used the command was because there was no admin neither someone who would put stop to people forcing rtd's or slaying the whole server. I don't slay people just because there is something they did that I don't like.

On a side note: As a player I think is more satisfying to beat someone fair and square than with cheats.


As a mod. I do not have to go and use in game commands, but I'm able to just simply make a report and kick/ ban people who keeps doing repeatedly (this of course, thoroughly analyzing the situation. I know Ban and Kick commands are not something to use as freely as a simple resize.
