I'd rather Linux support than a console - there are plenty of consoles out there, including the in-development OUYA which looks like it'll be fun to tinker with. But Linux finally getting gaming support? That's just... My god.

'Course, problem with that is that it'd at least start out being entirely controlled by Steam, the program that resembles diseased, bloated, feral pig genitalia. And it's where everything has DRM....

But hey, regardless of where this goes, at least there's finally another company that's slowly teabagging Microsoft. It's been a bit too long.

OSX is far more bulky and bloated for a UNIX-based system if you don't care for the features it offers than many of the other UNIX systems out there. That, and it's considerably harder (and more expensive) to obtain compared to a Linux distro coupled with Windows. Though I suppose you could make the argument that, for those who like the OS, you could just install it on a non-Apple device without too much trouble if you know what you're doing, and that the slimmer UNIX-based systems can't achieve as much... My distaste is just more towards Apple than OSX. I'm sure you could find an equally prejudiced cartoon targeting Windows - they're all funny.

All good and fair points, I appreciate your point of view. I agree that Apple's made OSX too unattainable for most people, even those than can afford it know better than to spend what Apple demands for it's systems..

I am one of the many that choose to use their OS on a non-Apple device, and I love it. I couldn't see myself using another operating system, other than Windows for the gaming portion of my computing.

Yeah, liking OSX is fine. The fact that it's UNIX and not a mutant DOS thing can actually make certain things easier, it's true. It's just the mindless minions of Apple who argue everything Apple is better without being able to back their claims that bug me.

it's a lot smaller than a home PC and also uses a great deal less power than any PC. there's also the fact that many people are perfectly fine with laptops and tablets for srs bidness and don't need cutting-edge gaming machines for fucking miencraft n shit. steam already has our business so this doesn't have to appeal to PC gamers in the least.

IGN only displayed the PS4 and X-Box 720.
