The email came to my inbox and seemed legit. I think someone requested have my password changed. The real kicker is about 15 min prior to this my steam friends network shut down and then I was prompted to enter such a code in the steam console. I was WTF! and restarted my computer because steam froze up. The email is what really freaked me out made me change my password. Anyone had an issue like this? Should I be contacting Valve?

I've seen similar phishing things happen to a couple people before, they had accounts damaged by it.

- Change your Steamn password if you haven't already.
- Change your email service password while you're at it (the one you have tied to your Steam account)

You can report any fake steam phishing links to google, valve won't do jack about them.

I got that recently when I reinstalled Windows, logged in through Chrome, Firefox, etc.... Steam now makes you authorize every computer, even browser you try and connect to.

I wouldn't worry about it, scene girl.

Rule #1 - don't use hotmail to tie any of your games together lol

Get a real e-mail, and use it wisely. Keep your hotmail for all the shit tricks shouldn't see.
